HISTORY

A history with substance

In 1959, Manuel Chousa founded the bread bakery Panadería Chousa in the city of Lugo, recognized for its products and services. The concern of the second generation led to development of the chain of Don León bread boutiques, and later, deep chill refrigeration technology applied in our bakeries to begin pioneering production of deep-frozen empanadas.

So, in 1989, INGAPAN S.L. began with the challenge of meeting the demands and evolution of the market, opening frontiers and uniting tradition and technology.

Currently, GRUPO INGAPAN is the parent company and leader in its frozen dough sector. It was able to transfer all its knowledge acquired through years of experience, becoming a major company with several business lines and brands.
