FUTURE PLANS
GRUPO INGAPAN is initiating the construction of the City of Bread, one of the most ambitious plans in the frozen dough sector. The plan includes the launch of eight production plants, a logistical center and the new administrative site of the company. The City of Bread is to be developed on a lot of 86,000 sq. m. acquired in Outeiro de Rei (Lugo).
The first phase, planned to be completed in the summer of 2008, will receive an investment of 14 million euros. Expected actions begin with the launch of a central office building of 2,750 sq. m., a logistic center with capacity of 9,600 pallets, and a first floor that would house three production lines for making Galician bread, savory items and frozen pastry.
The final plan would reach 24 production lines, distributed among 8 productive installations, which would increase the number of plants of the Galician company to 15.
The construction of this complex does not imply that the Group would transfer its activities to it from the factories that are in production in Begonte and O Ceao. All them will remain active and with a capacity for expansion, at least in the case of Begonte, where three lines are functioning, with the capacity to implement another three.
The administrative offices, currently located in one of the O Ceao factories, however, will be transferred to a corporate central office building, with a total surface of 3,600 sq. m. In it will be located the different departments: Commercial, Logistic, Marketing and Exportation, among others.
The expansion of its production and the opening of new plants will allow it to increase its business figures. Plans such as these offer a promising future for the company, which continues its path with its same characteristic perseverance and effort.
